SCV Talk: The French Revolution - Community Calendar

The French Revolution

$ 14 Adults, $ 12 Seniors (62 & over), $ 9 Youth (under 18)

Join us for an evening of music by French composers and artists and music about France. The program will include An American in Paris, Selections from Les Miserable, Can-Can and much, much more!

The Santa Clarita Valley Concert Band was formed in 1984 to serve two purposes: to provide accomplished adult amateur musicians a local forum where they could use and further develop their musical skills, and to provide the community with an accomplished musical resource. Today the band has 50 members. The band rehearses weekly all year round and performs an average of 8 times each year. The band is a long time member of the Arts Alliance, the City-sponsored committee for local artists and art organizations. Our director, Tim Durand, is a graduate of California State University Northridge and has conducted the SCVCB since 1996.
