Event Description
Spend a day at the California Science Center to see the space shuttle Endeavour up close and personal This is a very special and exciting opportunity as Los Angeles is one of the four sites to receive a space shuttle from NASA. Before viewing the orbiter, you will start with Endeavour: The California Story, an exhibit featuring images and artifacts showcasing the shuttle program in which the orbiters were built. The California Story gallery will also feature components that flew into space with Endeavour, such as the galley and tires from STS-134, the space shuttles, final mission. Then, see the magnificent Endeavour space shuttle itself! In the afternoon, you will have time to browse the Science Center at your leisure and enjoy an included IMAX showing of Space Station.
